Guest Lecture at Udayana University Explores Mathematical Research and Resilience

The Mathematics Study Program at Udayana University has successfully hosted an academic Guest Lecture entitled “Mathematical Research and Resilience” (Riset Matematika dan Resiliensi). The event took place at Building GF, Mathematics Study Program, Udayana University, on Tuesday, 08 September 2026, from 09:00 to 12:00 WITA (UTC+8).

This guest lecture was organized to broaden the academic horizons of students and faculty members regarding the pivotal role of mathematics and actuarial science in fostering resilience across various domains, ranging from predictive modeling and risk management to data-driven decision-making.

The event featured six distinguished keynote speakers and researchers who delivered valuable insights from their respective fields:

1. Dr. Danang Teguh Qoyyimi

2. Dr. Noorma Yulia Megawati

3. Restu Ananda Putra, M.Aktr.

4. Alzimna Badril Umam, M.Sc.

5. Harindra Litsyachnaztyasia Berlian, S.Aktr.

6. Devi Atirotun Muthohharoh, S.Aktr.

Throughout the session, the speakers highlighted the synergy between contemporary mathematical modeling, risk theory, and actuarial analysis in tackling modern global uncertainties. The audience, comprising both students and faculty members, engaged actively during the insightful presentations and interactive Q&A sessions.

The guest lecture concluded at 12:00 WITA with the awarding of certificates of appreciation to the guest speakers, followed by a commemorative group photo. Through this program, the Mathematics Department of Udayana University aims to continuously encourage collaborative research and impactful scientific innovations.
