Guest Lecture Event with Imre Ferenc Barna, Ph.D at Udayana University

Denpasar, 20 June 2024 - Udayana University again held a Guest Lecture event, in which, , an expert in mathematics and physics, Imre Ferenc Barna, Ph.D. presented. The event with the theme "Analytic solutions of partial differential equations" took place at 10.00-12.00 Central Indonesian TIme, at the Computer Lab, 3rd Floor, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Building.

This event was opened by Prof. Ni Nyoman Rupiasih, S.Sc., M.Si., Ph.D., who serves as Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information. In his speech, Prof. Rupasih conveyed the importance of activities like this to increase students' insight and understanding of complex topics in mathematics and physics.

"With this guest lecture, we hope that students can deepen their knowledge and be inspired by explanations from experts who have international experience," said Prof. Rupasih.

This guest lecture was attended by approximately 30 participants, including students from mathematics and physics study programs. They seemed enthusiastic about following every explanation given by Imre Ferenc Barna, Ph.D. In his lecture, Dr. Barna explained the analytical solution of partial differential equations, a relevant topic for mathematics and physics students.

"I am thrilled to be able to share my knowledge with the students here. Hopefully, what I convey can provide new and useful insights into their studies," said Dr. Barna.

This activity not only provides new knowledge for the participants but also opens up opportunities for them to discuss things directly with international experts. The students took advantage of the question-and-answer session by asking various questions about the material presented.

By holding this event, it is hoped that Udayana University can continue to have academic activities that are beneficial for the development of science and improve the quality of education in the campus environment.
