HIMATIKA 2026 Period Holds Tirta Yatra: Seeking Blessings and Strengthening Togetherness at the Beginning of the Management

DENPASAR – Kicking off the organization with a spiritual spirit, the Mathematics Study Program Student Association (HIMATIKA) for the 2026 term successfully held a Tirta Yatra event on Saturday, February 28, 2026. This event is one of the flagship work programs under the auspices of the Daily Executive Board (BPH), which is routinely held at the beginning of each term.

This year's Tirta Yatra served as a means of Matur Piuning, a ceremony to seek blessings from the Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa (God). This was done to ensure the smooth running, success, and harmony of all work programs implemented by the HIMATIKA management throughout the coming term.

Series of Prayers at Three Main Temples

The group, consisting of lecturers from the Mathematics Study Program and all active Hindu students, began their journey at 7:00 a.m. WITA (Central Indonesian Time). This year's Tirta Yatra route targeted three important temples in the Klungkung and Karangasem regions:

1. Watu Klotok Temple: The first destination for spiritual cleansing.

2. Goa Lawah Temple: The second location for seeking protection and strength.

3. Luhur Silayukti Temple: The peak location for prayers and the core Matur Piuning of the management.

Building Closeness and Solidarity

Besides the spiritual dimension, the activity, which lasted until 4:00 PM WITA (Central Indonesian Time), also served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen ties. Interactions between lecturers and students outside of the classroom created a warm, family atmosphere.

The activity concluded with a break and lunch. This shared moment is expected to build chemistry and solidarity among mathematics students before facing the busy academic and organizational schedules of 2026.

With the completion of this Tirta Yatra, the 2026 HIMATIKA term officially begins its term of office, grounded in Dharma values. We hope that all plans prepared will run smoothly and deliver real benefits to the entire academic community of the Mathematics Study Program.
