Study-Plan Card Filling Activity for New Mathematics Students during the Introduction to Campus Life for Freshmen, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Udayana University, 2025

The Study-Plan Card Filling Activity for new Mathematics students, held as part of the Orientation Programme for Freshmen of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Udayana University in 2025, is one of the series of events designed to acquaint incoming students with campus life.

The event aims to introduce the study programme, faculty members, and the academic system, while also providing technical guidance for completing and approving the Study-Plan Card for the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

Participants include first-year Mathematics students of the 2025 cohort, academic advisors, and a committee of volunteers from the Mathematics Student Association who assist throughout the activity.

By conducting this activity, the university seeks to fulfil the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—particularly the education and community-service dimensions. New students receive an overview of the programme’s vision, mission, objectives, curriculum, and areas of specialization, as well as practical training on using the IMISSU system for academic processes.

In addition, the event aims to facilitate a smooth completion of the Study-Plan Card, ensure the accuracy of student data in the SIMAK system, and strengthen relationships between new students, their academic advisors, and fellow classmates.

The activity took place on Wednesday, 20 August 2025. The agenda began with an opening ceremony, followed by a welcome address from the Mathematics Programme Coordinator, an introduction to the programme and faculty members, verification of student data in SIMAK by academic advisors, factual data checks, a walkthrough of the Study-Plan Card completion and approval process, and concluded with a closing session.
