KRAMATIKA XXIII Sharing Session Inspires New Math Students with Real-World Career Insights

Denpasar, September 15, 2025 — The KRAMATIKA XXIII Sharing Session, organized by the Mathematics Student Association (HimatiKa) of Udayana University, successfully concluded on Saturday, September 13, 2025, via Zoom Meeting, offering an insightful journey into the professional landscape for 74 new students from the 2024 and 2025 cohorts.

The session, held from 07:00 to 13:35 WITA, uniquely focused on three core competencies within the Mathematics Study Program: Statistics, Computing, and Applied Mathematics. It brought together three accomplished alumni as guest speakers: Gusti Agung Aditya Wibhawa, S.Si., M.M., CSA, CWM®, CIB (Applied Mathematics), Gusti Ayu Made Arna Putri, S.Si., M.Sc. (Statistics), and Kadek Arya Saputra (Computing). Their real-world experiences bridged the gap between academic theory and professional practice.

Through inspiring personal stories and practical examples from industry and research, the speakers highlighted not only career trajectories but also essential skills such as problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication — key assets for success in today’s competitive job market. The session concluded with an informal Q&A with senior students currently immersed in their respective fields, fostering meaningful peer mentorship.

“This was more than just a talk — it was a vision for my future,” said one attendee. “After hearing about how statistics drives business decisions, I now have a clear direction to pursue.”

As a flagship initiative of HimatiKa Udayana under Entrepreneurship and Student Welfare, this event exemplifies the program’s mission: preparing students not just academically, but with purpose, confidence, and foresight.
