Opening Ceremony of the 23rd Mathematics Students' Fellowship Activity Held at Udayana University

Denpasar, September 15, 2025 — The 23rd edition of KRAMATIKA (Kegiatan Keakraban Mahasiswa Matematika), organized by the Mathematics Students Association (HimatiKa) of Udayana University, was officially inaugurated on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Lecture Building Hall, Level 3, Udayana University. The event marks a key milestone in welcoming new students from the 2024 and 2025 cohorts into the Mathematics department’s academic and social community.

The in-person event, held from 07:00 to 12:30 WITA, attracted 74 participants. The opening ceremony was symbolically marked by the chair of the Mathematics Study Program pinning name tags, following a welcome speech. This was followed by two essential educational sessions: "Ethics and Lecture Regulations" presented by Luh Putu Deswinta Dharmariani, and "Public Speaking" delivered by Putu Wirajaya Mahardika. These sessions aim to prepare new students academically and socially from the very beginning of their academic journey.

KRAMATIKA XXIII is a flagship program of HIMATIKA Udayana under entrepreneurship and student welfare initiatives. Beyond orientation, it fosters camaraderie, a sense of belonging, and an academic spirit among mathematics students.

“This event isn’t just about making friends — it’s about laying a strong foundation for academic excellence and personal growth,” said one of the organizing committee members.

The activity is part of the larger university-wide programs for new students in the 2025/2026 academic year, reflecting Udayana University’s commitment to creating an inclusive, inspiring, and high-achieving academic environment.
